Oakland Hyphae welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join us on this transformative journey and center the experience of Black, Brown and Indigenous bodies and their journeys.Â
This retreat offers a unique and transformative experience, carefully curated by the stewarts at Oakland Hyphae. Their hearts intention is to  provide participants with a profound journey into the world of psychedelics as well mutiple modalites of wellness to assist in grounding and playfully exploring growth, expansion and rest for those participating.Â
The International Psychedelic Retreat will take place in the enchanting natural surroundings of Jamaica, allowing participants to connect with the beauty of the island  and immerse themselves in the healing energies of nature. We will also respectfully participating in the gifts of Jamaican culture, including music, art, and local cuisine, to provide a holistic and enriching experience.
Lead Facilitator:
 Mikaela de la Myco is an educator, a mother, a folk herbalist, and a community organizer. Creator of movements such as Mothers of the Mushroom, the mushWOMB, Eco Sensual and MAAT. A caretaker of group entheogen spaces for over 8 years, she is a student of the Mexica lineage and curates trauma-informed and sensory friendly environments.
Co Facilitator:
Veladya Organica is a well-established force in the herbal medicines industry, dedicated to redefining wellness through the power of nature. She is a mother and steward of land. With over10 years of facilitator experience and focused study, she creates grounded spaces with her voice and presence. Hood Bruja, an esteemed member of the BIPOC psychedelic community, Destiny is a well respected facilitator, educator and mother of many. She is well versed in the world of plants, medicines and journeywork and has been collaborating in creating ceremonial spaces for over a decade.
Retreat schedule
- Orientation: Welcome Ceremony/Orientation First Fire & History with First Man
- Landing: yoga Explore the Village/ Tour River Walk & Water Blessing Empathogenic (Heart Medicine) Dance / Fire
- Grounding:Â Breathwork, Mural Painting Lessons, Drumming and Chanting Aura Cleansings Mushroom Ceremony / Fire
- Expanding:Â Yoga Integration Soap and Lotion Making Trip to the Beach Rastafari Ganja Ceremony
- Return: Breathwork, gifting, and closing ceremony
